We interchange opinions with overseas students.

The picture above was taken on August 2nd 2010, when we discussed with students of the university of UAE. The topic of this discussion was “Energy vision in 2100”. Both side of the students presented on energy outlook in the future first, and then, exchanged opinions about the topics that both students had got interested in through the presentations. We firstly thought the difference between Japan and UAE, oil-consuming country and oil-producing country, would make a collision. However, we could have a very fruitful discussion, since UAE sees much of alternative energy on national level.

It was for the first time that we had such an interchange with overseas students. We could share our visions, and had a very precious time. We STEP are going to and willing to have interchanges and discussions with overseas students. By doing so, we will be able to think energy and environment issues from various aspects, to deepen our understanding, and to be active globally in the future.
